Papercuts - Stenciling on Ceramic Surface
Instructor: Adrienne Eliades
Approaching clay surface as canvas, we will practice decorative resist processes using paper, vinyl, tape and wax with underglaze. Students can expect to leave with many new proficiencies, bisque-fired pots and glaze-fired tiles to mid-range temperature.
Wild Words
Instructor: Leanne Grabel
We will experiment with a variety of poetry forms and hybrid writing, including erasure poems, found poems, concrete poems, haiku, tanka, pantoums, list poems, rants, manifestos, and graphic work.
At the end of the week we will compile, design and publish a book for ourselves (and enough copies for other campers).
Folk Art Style Painting - Acrylic on Wood

Students will create colorful lively acrylic paintings on wood substrates. Whether the imagery describes stories from your life, an abundant pattern of visually interesting elements, or a combination thereof, we will keep it simple while it becomes meaningful to you and visually engaging.
Open Studio - Paint and More Paint
Instructor: Sandy Roumagoux
Students are encouraged to bring paintings that need to be “overhauled”, work in progress, ideas to start a series, or any ideas they would like to translate into paint.
Discovering Composition Through Experimentation

On various substrates, we will explore traditional and experimental techniques in these paint media: acrylics; photo transfer (with gel medium, Gelli plates & contact paper); solvent ink manipulation; tempera and ink resist; paste paint); bas relief (with joint
compound, tissue, glue, and Celluclay); faux effects; stenciling; collage and paint.
The Magic of Monotype

Experience the beauty and immediacy of monotype through demonstrations and individualized instruction. Many aspects of monotype and monoprint will be covered, resulting in both simple and, multi layered, complex prints.
Painting Magic - Oil & Cold Wax Medium
Instructor: Lynn Wintermute
Artists will learn how cold wax medium enhances oil paint to create a unique form of expression. Your instructor will spend time on personal mentoring and include sessions on composition, movement, color theory and much more.
