Teach With Us

We have offered our residential arts workshops at Menucha every summer since 1966. Become a part of the tradition!

Join us for Arts at Menucha

We welcome instructor applications from teaching artists of all types: visual artists, writers, musicians, and other creative professionals who love to teach and enjoy the idea of an immersive experience in a spectacularly beautiful setting. Selected applicants will have the opportunity to work with small classes of adult students as part of our “art camp for grownups,”  while also joining the broader community in communal meals, evening presentations, and engaging conversation.

Our Arts at Menucha instructors receive:

  • A $1,500 monetary stipend

  • Your own room in one of the historic Menucha buildings

  • Three family-style meals a day

  • Option to sell your work in our pop-up gallery

  • Access to Menucha grounds before and after class, including the pool, labyrinth, and hiking and walking trails

Active teaching time is Monday-Friday, 9:00–noon and 1–4:00. Class size is limited to 12 students. As an instructor, you are also encouraged to share a brief presentation about your creative practice with our community as part of our evening programming.

We would love to consider your proposal for a week-long creative workshop. Past workshops have included topics such as drawing and  painting in various media, book arts, mosaic, sculpture and assemblage, fiber arts, ceramics, mixed media, the graphic novel, art metals, business for artists, ukulele, improv, and creative writing. We welcome your ideas!

Questions about the application process or whether your workshop idea is a good fit? Reach out to us at info@creativeartscommunity.org.
