About the Workshop
Learn the art of fusing vitreous glass enamels on copper and silver for beautiful and colorful jewelry. Cut and shape metal, learn simple torch soldering, learn how to apply enamels and fire in a kiln, and gain skills in creating original jewelry designs.


About Debra Carus
Debra is a full time jewelry artist and metalsmith devoted to teaching others how to explore their creative sides. A career in leadership and team development has evolved into over 25 years of teaching jewelry making in her studio, at the Multnomah Arts Center, Sitka Center for Art and Ecology, Nordic Northwest and the National Nordic Museum. Her passion and joy lies in helping provide people the skills to pursue creative expression. Her work has been exhibited and sold through art festivals across the country, with a particular emphasis on Nordic design.
