About the Workshop

Find and ignite the star within! This week-long improv workshop will teach you how to find your BigM(e) and take the stage.

​

You’ll learn the foundations of building a character, creating a mood, and performing with other players. 

​

Big Mprov At the end of the week, participants will perform together in a live interactive piece for the other artists in the community. This showcase will deliver newly crafted stories, live improvisation, and character delivery.

 

Whether you are a seasoned pro, or have not performed since your elementary school pageant - this class is for you. Menucha is a haven for creative vulnerability between beginners and professionals, so don’t be afraid to come ready to play on whatever level you are at today.

About Holly Hurley Feather

Holly Hurley Feather has appeared in 3 Off-Broadway productions, two Sketch Comedy and Improv, and one she wrote and produced.
She’s been featured in Backstage Magazine, Ad Age, and taught courses across the country from her alumni for Musical Theatre - NYU - to programs across the United States.


When she isn’t producing, acting, directing, and teaching, she is a Consulting CMO for Fortune 500 Companies.

What students should bring:

For this class, you only NEED yourself and an open mind; but some great optional items are listed below:

- 3-4 hats/accessories from your closet. These should be items you consider “BIG” - e.g Sequined items, Fedoras, walking sticks - anything that you might consider over-the-top for everyday wear.

- A notebook + a pen, a cell phone, or a computer - however you prefer to take notes and write things down for memory.
