Week 2: Representational Collage Class Supply List
REPRESENTATIONAL COLLAGE WITH SUSAN SCHENK
Students will need to bring the following to class:

Scissors
- Exacto knife and extra blades
- Papers that are interesting to you...maps, 12x12 scrap book papers, books and magazines to tear up, wallpaper, rice paper, gelli prints, old artwork, junk mail, letters, tissue, and so on. There will be many papers in the classroom to share.
- 8x10 references for 5 subjects: your favorite bird, animals (including pets), flower, portrait, and landscape with buildings. Your references will not be damaged and many additional reference photos are available in class. Adult coloring books of animals, flowers, and butterflies work well, as do 9x12 format calendar photos.
- 11 x 14 foam core x 3|
- 10 x 10 or 12 x 12 wood cradleboard or painting panel (additional available in class at cost)
- Paper or plastic bag for trash
- Sketchbook for ideas, pens and pencils
- Brayer (extras available in class)
- Deli paper or wax paper
- Apron
- Blue tape
- Folders for saved papers
- Matte medium and brush, paper cups
