WEEK TWO: August 8th through 14th

THE LANDSCAPE IN PASTEL: MARLA BAGGETTA
This workshop is a fresh and informative period of work, study and fun! Instruction will focus on the fundamentals that are essential in the development of a painting. Students will learn to master value relationships, elements of color, use of edges, when to stop and why. Marla will work with students to help them further develop their personal style and identify the strong points and weaknesses in their work. We’ll build on the strong points and overcome any weaknesses. Marla is particularly adept at making each student feel comfortable and confident. The format of the class is a demonstration and a short lecture each day, followed by individual mentoring at students’ easels.
