Slabs – Dennis Meiners
We will explore the textural image making possibilities that become available in slab building with clay when slab making is done by hand, rather than with machines. We will use the slabs we make to construct utilitarian and sculptural objects, and discuss finishing possibilities to highlight our surface adventures. This class is fun and suitable to all skill levels.
