2010 Fundraiser

fundraiser bannerDear Friends of Creative Arts Community,

Love Art? We do too! We love learning and sharing art with others at our annual workshops at Menucha. Jackie West, founder of Creative Arts Community, believed that everyone who loves creating and expressing themselves through art should have the experience of Arts at Menucha. That’s why we have offered scholarships for over 40 years, and why we are writing to you now.

Art is its own reward. By supporting our 2010 Fundraiser in February and March, you generously endow the CAC scholarship fund and put yourself in the position of possibly winning some great tangible rewards as well, such as:

1. A hand bound sketchbook with artists' quotations and good paper - created by Judy Teufel
2. A restful/artful three days and two nights at a Beach House in Rockaway, Oregon within walking distance to the beach. Graciously donated by Nick and Trudy Banks.
3. A Monotype Workshop, taught by Susan Cowan, to be held at Trudy Banks’ studio in Vancouver, Washington on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 9:00am-5:00pm. Ten lucky winners will be selected.

By purchasing tickets; each one representing an opportunity to donate five dollars toward our scholarship fund for 2010. For each five-dollar donation, one ticket is entered into a drawing for one or more of the prizes listed above.

For prize details, call John Kinyon at 503-760-5837 to use Visa to make your donation. -- OR -- email us HERE

All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the Creative Arts Community scholarship fund.

The winning ticket will be drawn March 14, 2010. Winners will be notified by phone at the time of the drawing. A list of winners will be listed here on our website. We would like to say thank you. As a result of your support of our fundraising efforts last year, we were able to award over 14 scholarships for students attending our annual workshops at Menucha. Thank you for helping to make this experience accessible and for helping us to spread the love of art.

Creative Arts Community is a 501-C3 non profit organization.

By supporting our 2010 Fundraiser in February and March, you generously endow the CAC scholarship fund and put yourself in the position of possibly winning some great tangible rewards, as well. You could win a three day/two night getaway on the Oregon coast, a hand crafted sketch book from talented bookbinder Judy Teufel or a monoprint workshop taught by Susie Cowan.
