This workshop will explore the delightful and sometimes arduous practice of painting outdoors. There will be a strong emphasis on materials, ways of seeing, and interpretation of "landscape." This workshop is designed for oil painters but is open to watercolorists and acrylic painters. All levels welcome.

About Sarah

Sarah has a BFA in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Painting from Portland State University. She teaches in University Studies and the Art Department and is an educational affiliate of the Portland Art Museum. Her paintings and sculptures have been exhibited widely, including Italy and Iceland.
