WEEK 1 AUG 3 - 9
This class will create colorful and varied surfaces on both pottery forms and sculptural objects. Students will participate in the raku firing process, experiment with glazes and wax resist, and create pieces using handbuilding techniques. The class will culminate in our own unique version of the tea ceremony.
About Jill
Jill is currently the studio manager at Oregon College of Arts and Crafts & has taught numerous workshops throughout North and South Carolina. Her MFA degree is from the University of South Carolina. Her work was exhibited in the 2004 South Carolina Triennial & published in Handbuilt Table ware by Kathy Triplett
